The Cass High School Color Guard is a performance ensemble of nearly fourty students. This group is an entity of the Cass Marching Band. The Cass Marching Band is comprised of nearly 160 individuals who compete and perform in regional and national events all across the state of Georgia and the Southeast during the fall months. Auditions for the Cass High School Color Guard will be held in April. Rehearsals will begin over the summer and will continue several days per week through the month of October. The Cass High School Winter Guard is a performance ensemble within Cass High School. The Winter Guard is specifically catered to Color Guard students. This ensemble creates, performs, and competes with a show all around the state of Georgia and Southeast during the months of February and March. The Cass Winter Guard has been named SAPA Class Champions and consistently places at regional events. The Cass Winter Guard competes and performs in both the SAPA and WGI circuits. Traditionally, in order to seek membership in the Cass Winter Guard--a student must be a member of the Color Guard or Marching Band in the previous fall season. |
